We take the most fearful, the most skeptical and those who feel like they can’t do it, and train to a point of proficiency and confidence. We offer a thorough and gentle approach to understanding the foundational principles of firearms. It is our goal to meet the needs of beginners through advanced training levels while personalizing the approach and demands along the way to meet everyone’s needs.

Jamie
I was raised with firearms, but it wasn’t until I was in my early twenties that I got serious about training for defensive purposes. There are two reasons people train, because they enjoy it and because it is necessary. For me, I enjoyed it, but it was also necessary. With over 20 years of Firearms experience I have learned a thing or two. I have trained in many states, with numerous instructors, and as a woman in an industry flooded with men I wanted to adapt a few things to make this easier and more accessible while still pursuing an excellent level of training.
As a mom, I sought training specific to the demands on me. What do I do with my kids? How do I train them to respond appropriately? This isn’t just about me HAVING my firearm for defense, but I have to be able to have a plan, execute it, and execute it well! So, I sought expertise to accomplish all of those things, and I want to offer you the same experience.
What about home defense? Can you safely clear your home without making yourself a target?
Can you access your firearm? What about close confinement within 3 feet while a subject is actively moving towards you?
When is it safe to present your firearm? When is it safe to shoot? And analyzing all of these while your body is in fight or flight and then keeping eyes on your kids?!
Don’t worry mama, I got you! We will get you there. When you’re done, you can send your husband, so he can shoot like a girl too.
Tyler
Tyler has been training alongside Jamie since they met in 2013. His previous experience was in precision rifle, and once he tasted defensive training he wanted more! Tyler’s experienced in defensive handgun, defensive and long range rifle, and his engineering abililities fix and maintain just about everything. He assists Jamie on the range with line commands and coaching. You’ll see him around a lot, so say hi and be nice. He has made this all possible!
